We commit to the principles contained in the United Nations Human Rights – Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights: protect, respect, and remedy
Policy is set to identify, prevent, and mitigate adverse human rights impacts resulting from or caused by the Company’s business activities before they occur, through human rights due diligence and mitigation policies. We will only work with those organizations that adhere to the principles in this policy and adopt similar policies in their businesses.

Employment shall be freely chosen and shall be free to leave at their discretion. There is no discrimination in hiring, compensation, access to training, promotion, termination, or retirement. We are an equal opportunity employer. We will provide a safe and hygienic environment. Working hours will not be excessive and will comply with city and state laws and all government regulations.
National holidays shall be observed. Salary will be fair and equitable, and all proscribed taxes and employment laws will be followed and instituted. Written and understandable information will be provided to each employee concerning wages and expected behavior.
Forced Labor:
Forced labor is prohibited. All forms or involuntary labor including indentured labor, slave labor, prison labor or any form of human trafficking.
Child Labor:
Child Labor shall not be used and any person below a certain minimum age as determined by local laws and regulations will not be employed.
Safe and Healthy Workplaces:
A safe and healthy workplace will be maintained. Threats to employees or unfair treatment, humiliation, violence, sexual or other harassment, verbal or physical abuse, harsh and inhumane treatment, any form of intimidation and any other unsafe or disruptive conditions will be tolerated. This policy will apply not only to the workplace but to our trading partners as well aiming to mitigate the risk of accidents, injury, and their exposure to health risks. We are committed to continually improving health and safety conditions in the workplace.
Freedom of Association and Collective Bargaining:
SSDI respects all employees’ right to join, form or not join a labor union without fear of reprisal, intimidation, or harassment.
Our employees are not in a union, but we openly promote employee communications regarding their concerns, requests for raises and inputs on improving the workplace. We will make every effort to maintain employee confidentiality if it is necessary when grievances are voiced, and we commit to working with every employee to listen to their issue and resolve their concerns.
